The Menopause Made Simple Program
Many women who are approaching or are in the midst of menopause are confused and frustrated with the information available to them on how best to manage this stage of their lives.
Research shows that making changes to your lifestyle can definitely have positive benefits on your menopausal symptoms. Dr Debra Anderson and Vicky Graham have developed a simple lifestyle plan that includes six steps women can take not only to minimise menopausal symptoms, but also to maximise the quality of their lives into the future.
Beginning with health information, nutrition and a clearly laid out exercise plan illustrated with black and white photographs, the authors also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and the use of complementary therapies. An easy-to-use action plan is included and the guide finishes with practical journal pages that "walk" you through the sections. Following The Menopause Made Simple Program can make a difference to your life. Read about your options and choose your own plan.
Dr Debra Anderson is senior lecturer at Queensland University of Technology. She coordinates the graduate programs in Women's Health and is currently Chair of 'Women's Health Queensland Wide'. She has presented papers at numerous national and international seminars on topics associated with menopause.
Vicky Graham has been working as an exercise physiologist in the health and fitness industry for the last fifteen years, specialising in women's health. As director of Health Resolutions health consultants she works primarily with menopausal women to design and implement lifestyle programs. These included specific exercise, diet and personal development strategies to help them achieve their goals.
