	Maria writes under the name of Airam Llewdroc. Born in 1954, in the “theatre” of Oldchurch Hospital in Romford Essex, she has been an “aspiring actress” ever since. Maria attended St Mary’s Convent School, Western Road, Romford, where she was taught by nuns from age 5 to 11; she went on to Upminster Convent girl’s secondary modern, where she studied to GCE ‘o’ level. Maria has worked in various fields and has had a variety of occupations, from Waitress to Secretary to Quantity Surveyor, Dairy Retail Clerk to Ambulance Control Officer, Keep fit instructor to Admin in the Department for Work and Pensions, with “Stuff in-between.” Marias' hobbies include Dressmaking, Reading, Holidaying, Entertaining, and Going Out. Maria enjoys going to evening classes to expand her knowledge and meet people, and holds certificates in Hairdressing, Interior Design, among others. Maria has a chaotic taste in music from ABBA & Andrea Bocelli to Rod Stewart & ZZ Top. Maria met her Partner in October 1978 and they were together until his death from Parkinson’s disease in November 2007. Her father died in December 2006 and her mother in April 2008. These three deaths left her bereft. However with the support of family and Friends she has “picked herself up, dusted herself down” and is ready in the words of a very good friend “to reinvent herself again”. Maria began writing Poetry seriously in August 2006. Her collection of poems depicts an insight into real life through her own eyes, with an eclectic mix of diverse life experiences gleaned from her own inner world. Such emotional expressions and feelings are familiar to us all, as we are able to identify with this through her work. Her modern collection will provide joy and enlightenment to all, through her chromatic expressions, which is enough to replenish the dull and depressed and afford them a feeling filled with life enhancing and uplifting vitality.

Nineteen Seventy Eight 19:08 24-42 what’s a girl to do? Twenty-four, forty-two What’s a girl like me to do? I was working as a waitress in a coffee bar – when I first met you. I was twenty-four, you were forty-two! Blonde, blue eyes, good looking Yes what’s a girl to do? You told me you were married Right from the very start. Blonde, blue eyes, good looking What’s a girl to do? “Don’t mess me around Maria” Were your very words I looked at you a little stunned At what I’d just herd. Blonde, blue eyes, good looking What’s a girl like me to do? I told you I was going out that night To play a game of Darts You came along to watch me play That’s when the romance starts!
