Windows Mobile PDAs

Windows Mobile devices can be used to read Mobipocket format ebooks by downloading the appropriate version of the reading software from Mobipocket.

Once the software has been installed you will need to ensure that you have registered the Mobipocket PID for the device prior to downloading your purchases.

Here's where you can find your PID:

1. Open Mobipocket Desktop Reader on your computer
2. Click on 'Reading Devices' in the grey left-hand panel
3. You should see any handheld devices listed alongside your computer
4. Click on 'Edit Properties'
5. Copy the PID and paste it into your eBooks.com account

You can then log in to your eBooks.com account and download your Mobipocket format book to read on your Windows Mobile device.

You can also use Microsoft Reader with Windows Mobile devices. You will need to ensure that the software has been installed and activated before downloading a copy of the book to your PC, then transferring it to your handheld device as you would normally transfer a file.
