Reading Reinforcement Games Book 1. A 2 book series which provides games that a teacher can use to provide worthwhile activities for groups of students to be engaged in while they work with other groups. Each book provides a variety of games in ascending levels of difficulty with increasing difficulty of vocab. They are aimed at giving students the opportunity to practice word recognition and reading skills in a simple fun way. Book 1 games cover:. alphabet. matching sentences. sentence building using basic vocabulary. initial letter snap and lotto/bingo. making simple words. Teachers need to copy the games onto light card and cut them up to have for the classroom a good range of games that can easily be replaced if they are lost or become worn. The simplicity of the rules and challenges in each game make them very easy and quick to explain and for students to learn.
