About The Author
Denise Brahimi is a former professor of comparative literature at the Université de Paris VII, a visiting professor at the Winthrop-King Institute for Contemporary French and Francophone Studies at Florida State University, and the author of numerous books in her native French. Vanessa Everson is a senior lecturer in French at the School of Languages and Literatures at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Cara Shapiro is a translator with a master’s degree in French from the University of Cape Town.
