During the period when the National Liberation Front was waging a guerilla war against the French to liberate Algeria from French control, the NLF used whatever means they could find to finance the effort. One very lucrative operation was to force "contributions" from Algerians living and working in France.

Michele Raimond was highly apprehensive when her husband, Detective-Inspector Piere Raimond, told her that he had been assigned to ferret out the NLF leaders in Paris. He assured her that it was his task to identify the Parisian NLF leaders, not to arrest them. She knew better. The job was not without its benefits, for Raimond soon suspected Mahmoud Taluffah was the leader of the underground operation and sought information during pillow talk from Taluffah's gorgeous girlfriend, Rolande. Taluffah vowed revenge when he discovered the amorous adventures of Rolande, and went looking for Michele Raimond. He would teach the Detective-Inspector a lesson that neither Raimond nor his wife would ever forget.
