Rich Thomaselli celebrated his 25th year as a sports journalist on June 24, 2011, and is a nine-time writing award winner. He did not graduate from the University of Michigan but adopted the Wolverines at an early age as his favorite college team and then had the great fortune to later spend four years at the Ann Arbor News, covering U-M football and basketball. He has been married to the former Patricia Corbett since 1996 and has two sons, Joe and Dan.
