This is the first time the conference had been held on the African continent and it was attended by more than 800 world leaders in international education. Going Global is a series of international education conferences hosted by the British Council for leaders of international education. The conference offers an open forum for policymakers and practitioners from around the world to discuss issues facing the international education community.
