Josh Spodek disconnected his Manhattan apartment from the electric grid in May 2022. He didn’t know how he’d last more than a day. He learned by doing and he’s still going.

They are creating a bottom-up and top-down movement that grows organically, leading governments and corporations instead of waiting for them.

He disdains lecturing, convincing, and coercing, which creates resistance. He shows how to inspire with intrinsic motivation, which creates meaning, gratitude, and effective action.
